Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan declared Dewas district complete electrified through a laptop in the convention of unorganised sector labourers and Tendu leaves collectors. In addition, he declared Dewas district open defecation free (ODF) by whistling. Now, Dewas district has been the 21st district to be open defecation free.
Chief Minister Chouhan said in the conference that about Rs 20 thousand crore will be spent on welfare and development of the poor and labourers by the state government. Under this scheme, the benefits will be distributed to workers in the presence of public representatives in all the Janpad panchayats of the state onJune 13. Chouhan said that the state government will not leave any stone unturned in the welfare and development of the poor. Giving detail of expansion of Chief Minister Public Welfare scheme, he said that the implementation and monitoring of the scheme will be done at Gram Panchayat level.
On this occasion, Chouhan dedicated and laid foundation for 22 construction and development works worth Rs 510 crores in Dewas district. Around 34555 Tendu leave collectors were distributed Rs 7.40 crore in their bank accounts through e-payment system. Residential pattas were given to 3000 houseless in the convention.
Chief Minister presents chappal to Tendu leave collectors
Chief Minister Chouhan gifted chappal, water bottle and Saari to woman tendu leave collectors in the convention. The chief minister presented certificates to excellent workers for declaring ODF to district. Benefits under different schemes were distributed on the occasion. The Chief Minister released book 'Vikas Ki Virasat'.
Minister of State for Technical Education and Skill Development (Independent Charge), Deepak Joshi, Mayor Subhash Sharma, MLA, Champalal Deoda, Rajendra Verma, Ashish Sharma and Smt Gayatri Raje Pawar, chairman of MP Textbook Corporation, Raisingh Sendhav, Chairman of MP Khadi Gramodyog Board, Suresh Arya, other public representatives and Tendu leave collectors, labourers of unorganized sectors and villagers were present in the convention of Tendu leave collectors and labourers.-Window To News
