Residential plots given to 32 lakh 48 thousand persons so far

Bhopal: The state government has decided to make plots available for houses to homeless persons. For this a Land Rights Campaign has been launched. Plots have been given to more than 32 lakh 48 thousand landless persons till May 18 in the campaign. The campaign to make land available for houses to the homeless in the state as desired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is in progress. A law has also been made in the state in this connection.
The state government has taken this decision also that if any person has got any house or building constructed for collateral purpose before December 31, 2014, then that land will be allotted to him. In this regard, necessary amendments have been made in the Acts.

These residential plots have been given in the geographical area, declared geographical area, regulation of non-interference land under Vas-sthan Dakhalkar Adhiniyam and Pattadhriti adhikar in urban areas.
Principal Secretary Revenue Arun Pandey informed that residential pattas have been distributed to 61 thousand 946 persons in Sheopur district, 52 thousand 660 in Morena, 99 thousand 700 in Bhind, 44 thousand 809 in Gwalior, one lakh 59 thousand 544 in Shivpuri, 59 thousand 518 in Guna, 51 thousand 464 in Ashoknagar,18 thousand 283 in Datia, 75 thousand 740 in Dewas, 66 thousand43 in Ratlam, 18 thousand 75 in Shajapur, 32 thousand 113 in Aagar, 46 thousand 866 in Mandsaur, 34 thousand 728 in Neemuch, 98 thousand 230 in Ujjain, 70 thousand 922 in Indore, 24 thousand 78 in Dhar, 7605 in Jhabua, 32 thousand 905 in Khargone, 3577 in Badwani, 6956 in Khandwa, 24 thousand 158 in Burhanpur and 2365 persons in Alirajpur.
