2545 Adhyapak to get benefit of inter-body merger policy

Bhopal: Under the inter-body merger policy of teachers of Adhyapak cadre, 2545 Adhyapaks will get benefit of posting in schools being run by school education department. They include those who have got permission for merger from the applications received online under the policy.

 It may be mentioned that out of 3995, 2545 Adhyapak would get benefit under the policy. The others 435 have already got sanction for inter- body merger from tribal to non-tribal area, 725 from non-tribal to tribal areas and 290 from tribal to tribal areas.

 It is worth mentioning that 11,304 teachers of Adhyapak cadre working in high schools and higher secondary schools had applied online in the first phase of inter-body merger policy. After online scrutiny, 5909 applications were found eligible. They include applications of 3769 male and 2140 female teachers. Provisional list was issued before sanctioning merging of 4607 Adhyapak through online process, according to the priority mentioned in the government policy. They include 2953 male and 1654 female Adhyapaks. After scrutiny in the provisional list, sanction was issued for inter-body merger of 3995 Adhyapak on March 16, 2018.

 Online policy for inter-body merger was issued by the state government on July 10, 2017 for merger of Adhyapak cadre. Woman, disabled and male teachers of Adhyapak cadre were included in the policy. Under the policy, sanction was issued for inter-body merger by inviting online application in the year 2017. Instructions were issued not to relieve teachers of Adhyapak cadre for inter-body merger from tribal area to non-tribal areas on the basis of shortage of teachers in schools being run in tribal areas by commissioner, tribal work development on April 12. After that, further action in the permissions issued for inter-body merger by commissioner, public instructions, was put on hold till further order.

Meanwhile, demand was raised by associations of Adhyapak at different levels  to reinstate process of merger. On May 23, taking initiative by school education department, it was decided that action should be taken to post and relieve the Adhyapak in whose case sanctions for merger have been  issued under inter-body merger in schools run by the department.-Window To News
