Procurement of 82.28 lakh MT wheat, gram, lentil and mustard on Support Price

Bhopal: So far 82 lakh 28 thousand 258 metric tonnes of wheat, gram, lentil and mustard have been procured at support price in the state. There is 70 lakh 58 thousand 488 MT record production of wheat in the total procurement. Procurement has been made from about 9 lakh 24 thousand 156 wheat producing farmers from 2933 production centres in the state.

Director, Food Shriman Shukla informed that 11 lakh 69 thousand 770 metric tonnes of gram, lentil and mustard record procurement has been made from 4 lakh 98 thousand 586 farmers from 596 procurement centres.

So far 9 lakh 79 thousand 942 metric tonnes of gram has been purchased from 4 lakh 22 thousand 904 farmers, one lakh 28 thousand 659 tonnes of red lentils from 95 thousand 770 farmers and 61 thousand 168 MT mustard has been procured from 33 thousand 456 farmers.-Window To News
