Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is not only popular among the common man, owing to his public welfare schemes and policies but along with this, his simplicity and intimacy wins the heart of the common man.
Such innumerable scenes came to light in Ratlam during the Antodaya Mela today, where villagers of the district were overwhelmed after meeting the Chief Minister.
When CM Chouhan helped the woman tendu leaf collector, Bhurabai of village Garad, in wearing foot wear, the other elder women present on the occasion gazed lovingly at the Chief Minister Chouhan like their own son. The 80 year old woman Gitabai spoke impulsively that “Shivraj vaqai mein hamara beta hai”.
After the programme, CM Chouhan met villagers, who came from the remotest areas like a family member. Chouhan embraced tribal Ramchandra Damore and Somla Ninama, when they came close to the Chief Minister for conservation.
