Cleanliness campaign in Narmada ghats

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board today organized a public awareness programme related to cleanliness campaign and plastic ban on the ghats of Narmada river in Hoshangabad. The programme was actively supported by the Central Pollution Control Board and Vardhman Industrial Group.
Both the ghats of Narmada river were cleaned up with the support of the general public during the public awareness programme. People were advised not to immerse material offered for puja etc. in plastic carry bags into the river. Local representatives and citizens took active part in the programme.-Window To News
