Accelerate the pace of development works in Vikram Udhyogpuri: Minister Rajendra Shukla

Bhopal: Minister for Commerce-Industry, Employment, Mineral Resources and Overseas Indians Rajendra Shukla said that the ongoing development works in Vikram Udhyogpuri project should be speeded up. He further mentioned to ensure construction works with quality soon. Shukla was inspecting the works during his visit to Ujjain on Saturday. Shukla also inspected the approach road of Vikram Udhyogpuri and apprised himself in detail about the water supply project. He directed to gear-up the ongoing development works.
It was informed that 11 M.L.D. water will be provided by the N.V.D.A. to the treatment plant through pipeline via Kadchha approach road from the proposed Ujjaini –Ujjain, Narmada –Kshipra Water Supply Scheme of the Narmada Valley Development Authority. The water will be distributed in three zones by the overhead tanks of different capacities.
It was also informed that construction works of two 8.30 kilometer long four lane approach road, internal 10.78 kilometer long main four lane, bridges-culverts, water supply and water treatment plant, sewer line, solid waste management works, gas pipeline, boundary wall and administrative building etc. will be carried out.
Minister Shukla also inspected the textile plant of S.E.L. Company located at Mehatwara of Sehore district on Saturday. He saw the various units of the textile plant and apprised himself about the production. Officers of S.E.L. Company were present on the occasion.-WTN
