Best Five method of Board of Secondary Education

Bhopal: The “Best Five” method has been implemented for class 10th from the academic session 2017-18 under the board examination to bring improvement in examination procedure of the board. Under this arrangement, the examination result will be calculated on the basis of 5 subjects, in which the students score the highest marks from the examination of 6 subjects taken by the board. Result will be declared after adding the highest marks of 5 subjects in the grand total by following the best five method, but it is mandatory to score marks ( practical and experiment/project) for passing in the five subjects separately. Minimum marks of 6th subject will not be calculated in the grand total. Marks obtained in the 6th subject will be just shown in the marks sheet.

It may be mentioned that not only the mental stress of students could be removed by adopting ‘Best Five’ Method in the High School Board examinations but it will also help students to connect them with the mainstream.-Window To News
