Rules and Laws will not obstruct welfare of villages, poor and farmers -CM Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while dedicating the newly constructed building of Medical College at Datia said that he will not let rules and laws obstruct works being carried out for the welfare of villages, poor and farmers. Rules and laws will be amended as per the need. He mentioned that budget utilization will be ensured in proportion of poor population.

Public Schools’ fee to be controlled
 

Medical college is historic achievement Chief Minister Chouhan while inspecting the various chambers and campus of Medical College building said that the construction of Medical College at Datia is a historic achievement. He expressed happiness over the completion of building construction in record time. An amount of Rs. 85 lakh and Rs. 79 lakh has been approved for construction of Dean and Superintendent’s residences in medical college built at a cost of Rs. 158 crore. A total of 103 doctors including dean have been posted at the medical college. Para medical staff is being posted soon in the college.

 CM Chouhan stated that public schools’ fee will be controlled. Such an arrangement will be made that children of poor families could also go to public schools to pursue studies.

He informed that the state government has deposited Rs. 28 thousand 449 crore in the last one year in the bank accounts of the farmers under the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana, Protsahan Yojana, drought relief and to financially support them at the time of natural calamities. He further said that the poor welfare scheme of world level ‘Sambal’ has been implemented to bring prosperity in life of poor families of the state. In this scheme, provisions have been made for every kind of assistance to tackle any situation for every member of poor family. Chouhan mentioned that the registered beneficiaries of Sambal Yojana have to pay domestic electric bill at the flat rate only from month of July, additional amount of the bill will be paid by the state government. Moreover, he said that the registered beneficiaries will be benefitted without any discrimination of caste, creed and religion. He informed that loan will be made available to one lakh youth at the guarantee of the state government during this year to set up self-employment. Along with this, self employment training arrangement will also be made.

Datia to be made top district of Country

Appreciating achievements of Datia district, Chief Minister said that Datia district tops in the country in implementation of various schemes. He mentioned that the government will not leave any stone unturned to make Datia a Mahanagar. He informed that Datia district is the first district of the country, in which maximum amount of over Rs. 62 crore has been distributed to the farmers under the Pradhanmantri Fasal Bima Yojana. The district is also tops in implementation of Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana, he added.

Datia district to get Rs. 5300 crore for Irrigation Schemes

CM Chouhan announced in the programme that an amount of Rs. 2 thousand 300 crore and Rs. 3 thousand crore will be approved for Ratangarh irrigation scheme and Loar river irrigation scheme respectively. He mentioned that Datia district will be made top district in the country in the field of irrigation. Chouhan also made announcement for construction of Teerth Seva Sadan in Datia.

Chouhan also dedicated and performed bhoomi poojan of various development works costing Rs. 701 crore in the district. He distributed benefits of various schemes to the beneficiaries too. Programme was chaired by the Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Narottam Mishra.

Minister for Urban Development and Housing Smt. Maya Singh, Member of Parliament Dr. Bhagirath Prasad, MLAs Ghanshyam Pironiya and Pradeep Agrawal, public representatives and farmers, villagers besides labourers in large number were present in the programme.
