New 47 Sub-Divisions formed in State

Bhopal: The cabinet meeting held under the Chairmanship of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken a decision to create new 47 sub-divisions in the state and gave approval for 21 new posts to run these sub-divisions, to establish 39 new government colleges besides starting post graduate courses in 11 government colleges. Moreover, the cabinet gave approval to Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana in the meeting.

47 new Revenue Sub-Divisions formed

The cabinet has given approval to form 47 new sub-divisions. Under this, sub-divisions will be formed at Bhitarwar and Ghatigoan of Gwalior district. Similarly, approval has been given to form sub-divisions at Aaron of Guna, Isagarh of Ashoknagar, Nateran and Gyaraspur of Vidisha, Nasrullaganj and Ichhawar of Sehore, Sarangpur, Biaora and Khilchipur-Jirapur of Rajgarh, Susner of Agar Malwa, Bhikangaon of Khargone, Padhana of Khandwa, Rajpur of Badwani, Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar (Bhabra) and Sondwa of Alirajpur Badnawar and Sardarpur of Dhar. In this series, approval has been given for formation of sub-divisions at Itarsi, Pipariya, and Seoni Malwa of Hoshangabad, Khirkiya and Timarni of Harda, Shahpur of Betul, Kesli and Malthone of Sagar, Shahnagar and Gunnore of Panna, Badamalehera of Chhattarpur, Bahoriband of Katni, Gotegaon of Narsinghpur, Kurai and Barghat of Seoni, Lanji of Balaghat, Hanumana and Mangawan of Rewa, Manjholi and Sihawal of Sidhi, Uchhera of Satna, Chitrangi and Mada of Singruali, Jaitpur and Jaisingh Nagar of Shahdol, Manpur and Pali of Umaria besides at Kundam of Jabalpur. The cabinet has also given approval for 21 new posts of junior category pay-scale of state administrative services to run these sub-divisions.

39 new government colleges to be set up

The Cabinet decided to set up 39 new government colleges in the state. Under this, decision was taken to set up girls' college in Unhel, Jharda, and Kaytha in Ujjain, Chaurai in Chhindwara, Baldegarh, Mohangarh and Lidhora in Tikamgarh, Dhodhar in Sheopur, Bandari , Khimlasa and Nariyavali in Sagar, Gulana in Shajapur, Mada in Singarauli, Badarwas, Rannod and Karhal in Shivpuri, Shadhora, Sahrai and Piprai in Ashoknagar, Umarvan in Dhar, Piplauda in Ratlam, Venkatnagar and Nashtigaon in Rewa, Dolariya in Hoshangabada, Karanjiya, Samnapur and Amarpur in Dindori, Pipalrawan in Dewas, Soyatkalan in Agar Malwa, Kailaras and Banmore in Morena, Dalauda in Mandsaur, Jiran in Neemuch, Gopalpur in Sehore, Chhapiheda in Rajgarh, Kurai in Seoni, Lamta in Balaghat, Tala in Satna,  and Seoni Malwa.

Similarly, a decision was taken to start a new faculty in 11 government colleges and start postgraduate courses in 11 government colleges. Decision was taken to continue the project, giving approval to building construction for government music and fine art colleges in Khandwa, Narsinghgarh and Ujjain. 

SHG to carry out uniform sewing and delivery work

The cabinet took decision to give government school uniform sewing and supply work to self-help groups. It is noteworthy that free uniform is provided to all boy and girl students from class I to VIII under the free and compulsory child education rights Act 2009.

97,291 schools to be electrified under Shala Jyoti Yojana

In this series, sanction was given to provide electricity facility to 97,291 electricity less government primary and middle schools under Mukhyamantri Shala Jyoti Yojana. Rs. 271 crore will be spent on it. Sanction was given Rs 50 crore for making school campus secured, encroachment free and security of students and planatation and boundary wall construction in schools for Boundary wall construction scheme for period 2017-18 to 2019-20 and Rs 20.50 crore for convergence under MANREGA.

Decision to continue construction and run hostels

The cabinet decided to continue operation and construction of excellence senior hostels for students of scheduled caste to be run by scheduled caste welfare department from the year 2017-18 to 2019-20. It was also decided that employees in the hostels will be outsourced. 

Mukhyamantri Jan-Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana approved

The Cabinet approved ex gratia payment, equipment grant and free coaching for admission in vocational courses and competitive examinations and Antyeshti Sahayata Yojana by Labour department Chief Minister Jan-Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana 2018. Under the Anugrah Rashi Bhugtan Yojana, there is a provision to give Rs. 4 lakh to the registered unorganized labour between the age of 18 to 60 years in case of accidental death, Rs. 2 lakh incase of natural death and Rs. 2 lakh besides Rs. One lakh in case of permanent and partial disability respectively. Under the Upkaran Anudan Yojana, subsidy of 10 percent or Rs. 5 thousand whichever is less will be given, if he/she takes loan from the bank to purchase equipment. Under the scheme arrangement has been made for free coaching of children of the registered unorganized labourers for admissions in professional courses, UPSC, PSC, and banking and other competitive examinations. Moreover, arrangement of cash assistance of Rs. 5 thousand has been made for Anteyeshti sahayta under the Sambal Yojana.

Limit raised to accrue earned leave

The Cabinet decided to increase the current limit of 240 days to 300 days for the maximum accumulation of earned leaves in MP Civil Service (Vacation Rule) 1977. This amendment will be effective from 01.07.2018. The Cabinet has also decided to continue 61 temporary posts of Directorate Archaeology, Archives and Museum till 2019-20.

Urban Sanitation workers to become competent technically

The Cabinet has agreed to enable the personnel technically by approving security equipments like Jetting Machine, Section Machine, Mask etc. to the workers for cleaning of septic tank and sewage by local urban bodies.

Other Decisions

While resolving the discrepancy generated by calling the Kanwar caste residing in Shahdol district in the local dialect as Kamar, the general administration department has given approval to the proposal of issuing the certificate of Scheduled Tribe to the District Collector Shahdol.

Benefit to Registered farmers under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Samraddhi Yojana
The Cabinet decided to give the benefits of the Mukhya Mantri Krishak Samriddhi Yojana to the farmers registered in the Seed Production Programme for adequate seed availability in the state. Under the scheme, a decision has been taken to deposit protsahan rashi at the rate of Rs. 265 per quintal for wheat seed under the Rabi year 2017-18 and Rs. 100 per quintal for gram, red lentil and mustard seed in the bank accounts of eligible farmers through RTGS /NEFT.

Irrigation Project

The Cabinet decided to give the benefits of special rehabilitation package to farmers for the Aasan Barrage Medium Irrigation Project of Morena district. Government approval of Rs. 307 crore 52 lakhs has been given for total irrigation area of 8500 hectare of Gadha Irrigation Project of Betul district. In the same order, administrative sanction of Rs. 154 crore 85 lakh was approved for the total irrigation area of 5000 hectare of Sankota Irrigation Project of Sehore district and of Rs. 105 crore 72 lakhs for the total irrigation area of 4000 hectare of Mograkheda Irrigation Project of Sehore district.

Land Allotment

The Cabinet decided to allot 4.050 hectare land of Chiklod Kalan village of Gauharganj tehsil in Raisen district for the setting up of Centre for Health AIIMS. A decision was also taken to allot 31.526 hectare land for setting up a Sugarcane Research Centre in Bohani district of Narsinghpur under the Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University, Jabalpur. It has also been decided to allot 4000 sq. ft. land in Bhopal city for the Samajik Bhavan of Marwari Agarwal Samaj.-Window To News
