Increase in Centre’s assistance should be made in proportion to increase in population

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended meeting of NITI Ayog held under the Chairmanship of the Prime Minister Narendar Modi at New Delhi today. He spoke especially about two issues concerning Madhya Pradesh in the meeting.

CM Chouhan said that increase in centre’s share of various schemes and centre’s financial assistance should be made in proportion to increase in population during the last few years. Similarly, he said in the meeting that Madhya Pradesh has made remarkable efforts to sustain green cover and to increase it at the cost of development in Madhya Pradesh in the past. He demanded that Madhya Pradesh must be given additional amount in the form of green bonus to accelerate the pace of overall development in the state.-Window To News
