Eradicating poverty is my resolution, I will fulfill this: Chief Minister Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the state government is working for eradicating poverty from the state by taking a resolution for it. We will fulfill this resolution in every situation. He said that it is our priority to remove every difficulty from the lives of the poor people. Execution of Sambal Yojana is being ensured in every part of the state with this priority. Chouhan said that Sambal Yojana will definitely bring positive change in the lives of labourers, needy and destitute people of unorganized sector. The Chief Minister was addressing a huge gathering present in labourers convention and Antoday Mela in Alhadakheri of Sehore district today.

Giving detail information about the benefits of the Sambal Yojana, Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state budget will now be prepared by prioritising programmes for upliftment of the poor. The state government will continuously make effort utmost to prosper the poor families. He said that every eligible beneficiary of the state will be benefitted under Sambal scheme. Committees are being set up at ward and gram panchayat level to ensure better execution of the scheme.

Chief Minister Chouhan announced that cent percent cent irrigation facility will be ensured in Sehore district by linking Parvati river with Narmada. He said that the work of linking both rivers is in progress. Chouhan inaugurated and dedicated 441 construction works of the cost of Rs 83 crore 16 lakhs in Sehore district in the convention.

He distributed ex-gratia amount of Rs 64 lakh to 27 eligible beneficiaries registered under Sambal Yojana on the occasion. Chouhan also distributed benefits to eligible beneficiaries under various welfare schemes in the convention.
 
On the occasion, District in-charge minister Rampal Singh, Member of Parliament Manohar Untwal, Chairman of Forest Development Corporation Gurprasad Sharma, Chairman, Labour Welfare Board, Sultan Singh Shekhawat, Sunil Maheshwari, MLA, Ranjit Singh Gunwan, District Panchayat President Smt Urmila Maretha , Municipal Council President, Smt Amita Jaspal Arora, CCB Chairman Smt Usha Ramesh Saxena, other public representative and a large number of villagers were present.-Window To News
