CM Chouhan pays floral tributes at Rani Durgawati’s samadhi

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Narrai paid floral tributes at the samadhi of the Veerangana at the tribal convention organized on Rani Durgawati’s Balidan Divas,. On this occasion, Chouhan also garlanded the statue of Rani Durgawati and felicitated heads of tribal communities from nine districts of Mahakaushal region who had come to attend the convention with shawl and shriphal. The Chief Minister offered floral tributes to Veer Narayan, son of Rani Durgawati at the Samadhi site and performed puja-archana of Aaradhya Badadev of tribal community.
A photo exhibition based on the life of Rani Durgawati was also organized by the Swaraj Sansthan at Samadhi site. Heads of the tribal community welcomed the Chief Minister at the Samadhi site by presenting him with a bow and arrow and adorning him with a pagdi as per their tradition. While offering floral tributes at the Samadhi site, the Chief Minister was accompanied by State BJP President and Jabalpur MP Rakesh Singh, MP Mandla Faggan Singh Kulaste, Rajya Sabha Member Smt. Sampatiya Uike, MLA Smt. Pratibha Singh and Sushil Tiwari Indu, Mayor Smt. Swati Godbole, District Panchayat President Smt. Manorama Patel, JDA President Dr. Vinod Mishra, Vice Chairman of Backward Class and Minority Finance Development Corporation S.K. Muddin, BJP State Vice President Vinod Gotia and BJP District President Shiv Patel.

While paying tributes to Veerangana Rani Durgawati on Balidan Divas, CM Chouhan appeared in a different mood. While offering floral tributes at the Rani’s Samadhi and giving garlanding all the statues, the Chief Minister started raising slogans of Rani Durgawati amar rahe. Chouhan shook hands warmly with all those who had gathered to welcome him and also spoke to them. He also danced with tribal dancers performing folk dance on the occasion. Chouhan announced to grant Rs 25 thousand each to the four groups of tribal folk dancers who performed folk dance at the tribal convention.-Window To News
