Group Surya-Namaskar on ‘Yuva Diwas’ Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekanand

CM Chouhan Will Participate In Group Surya-Namaskar at Excellence School, Bhopal
Bhopal : Group Surya-Namaskar will be held in all the schools, colleges and academic institutions of the state on ‘Yuva Diwas’ the Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekanand on January 12. On the same day, inspirational academic and cultural programmes focusing life of Swami Vivekanand will be organised. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Minister for School Education Kunwar Vijay Shah and Minister of State for School Education Deepak Joshi will participate in Group Surya-Namaskar to be held at Government Subhash Excellence School at 9.00 a.m. As regard to the programme, directives have been issued by the Commissioner Directorate of Public Instruction to District Collectors, District Education Officers, Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development and Principals DIET.
Group Surya-Namaskar will be held from 9.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. on Yuva Diwas i.e. January 12 in academic institutions, colleges, gram panchayats and residential schools. All the participants will gather at 9.00 a.m. Information regarding preamble of programme will be given by the announcer. Group recital of National Song Vande Matram will take place at 9.20 a.m. A message of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be broadcasted at 9.30 a.m. followed by beginning of Surya Namaskar and Pranayam at 9.45 a.m. At the end vote of thanks towards all the participants will be delivered at 10.30 a.m.
Directives to conduct Surya-Namaskar in all the academic institutions at one signal have been given. Moreover, directives to include students of 6th to class 12th and college students in Surya-Namaskar have been given. Students of class 1 to 5th will not participate in the Surya-Namaskar but they will present there to see the programme. Arrangement of direct broadcast of Surya-Namskar programme from radio has been made. Also message of the Chief Minister will be broadcasted during the direct broadcast.
The state government has urged all the cabinet members to participate in the Surya-Namaskar programme. Ministers have been told to participate in any one academic institution as per their convenience.
On the basis of one to twelve counts yoga postures will be performed during Surya-Namaskar. Prayer posture at first count, Hasta Uttanasan at two, Padhastasan at three, Ashva Sanchalnasan at four, Parvatasan at five, Ashtaang Namaskar at six, Bhujangasan at seven, Parvatasan at eight, Ashva Sanchalnasan at nine, Padhastasan at ten, Hasta Uttanasan at eleven and at the end on twelth count Prayer posture will be performed. Instructions to pay special attention towards sanitation in grounds during group Surya-Namaskar have been issued. -WTN
