New pipeline to be installed in Damoh for sufficient drinking water supply

Damoh: Finance minister Jayant Mallaiya said that a new pipeline would be installed so that people in Damoh can get sufficient water supply. Mallaiya was addressing programme after dedication of intake well and pump house having cost of Rs 41 crore at Jujhar Ghat in Damoh on Thursday

Finance minister said that work for filter plant is underway in Damoh. It would be completed by this summer. He said that citizens in Damoh would get twice a day water supply soon. Referring sankalp¬ 2022, he said that state government would provide house to houseless families. 

Houseless persons would be provided three installment each of Rs 40,000. Rs 12,000 would be given in last installment for toilet construction. Camp would be organised for this in the district. The finance minister said that the state government is working on time frame to double farmers' income. State government, last year, distributed Rs 9000 crore to farmers as crop insurance.-WTN
