State government urges Enforcement Directorate to Conduct Enquiry in Katni Axis Bank Case

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh State government has urged Enforcement Directorate to Conduct Enquiry in Katni Axis Bank Case
It has been exposed during the investigation under the Crime Case no. 738/16,739/16,741 Section 420, 467, 471 of Indian Penal Code and Crime Case No. 1367/16 Section 420, 204, 506 of Indian Penal Code that some criminals have exchanged currency through fake bank accounts by forging documents in Katni Axis bank at district Katni.
An enquiry is being conducted by S.I.T. in the above mentioned cases. Under the light of the facts came to the fore in these cases it is appears to conduct an appropriate enquiry necessarily on the proceeds of the crime. The state government has decided in all above mentioned cases that Enforcement Directorate should be urged to conduct an enquiry in all these related four cases. Accordingly Enforcement Directorate has been apprised about the case.-WTN
