Every Village Panchayat will be Made Wi-fi

Bhopal : Wi-Fi facility will be provided in every Village Panchayat of Madhya Pradesh under the Bharat Net Project. Village Panchayats will be linked with Optical Fibre Network for this.
Administrator Telecommunication Department and Universal Services Obligation Fund Sanjay Singh discussed with the Minister for Revenue, Science and Technology Umashankar Gupta in this regard. Gupta gave directives to initiate necessary action within time limit regarding the project. Works to lay optical fibre is being carried out in 1250 village panchayats at present. Gupta directed to prepare an action plan as regard to lay optical fibre in the remaining 1050 village panchayats.
Principal Secretary Science and Technology Mohammad Suleman and M.D. of M.P.S.E.D.C. Shri M. Selvendran were present in the meeting.-WTN
