CM Chouhan performs Surya-Namaskar, Pranayam with students

Bhopal: Mass Surya-Namaskar was performed in the entire state on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary ‘Rashtriya Yuva Diwas’ on Thursday. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan performed Surya-Namaskar and Pranayam in the morning at the campus of Government Subhash Higher Secondary Excellence School with the students.
Chouhan garlanded the picture of Swami Vivekananda and recalled virtue. Recollecting the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, Chouhan said that human body possesses everlasting powers and energy. Human beings can do impossible works easily. He called upon the students to have self confidence. Always be filled with self confidence and scale new heights with healthy body and sharp mind.
Chief Minister said that Swami Vivekananda has taught us not to spent life meaningless but life is meant to be led to undertake great works. Moreover, he again urged the students to play a lot, be healthy and study. No hindrance will come in the way of education. Praising the initiative of the School Education department to welcome the guests with books in place of bouquet, Chouhan said that it will develop the attitude of inquisitiveness.

The programme was organised by School Education Department. Minister for School Education Kunwar Vijay Shah, Minister of State for School Education Deepak Joshi and Chairman State Child Rights Protection Commission Dr. Raghvendra Sharma also participated in the group Surya-Namaskar and Pranayam. They performed Bhastrika and Bhramari Pranayam. Moreover, a scripture of historical Chicago speech of Swami Vivekananda was recited before the students on the occasion.-WTN
