Chief Minister Chouhan to address state on January 14

Main function to be held in TT Nagar Stadium
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will participate in 'Anand Utsava' programme on January 14 at TT Nagar stadium at 11 am. State government has constituted Happiness department and Rajya Anand Sansthan as a registered society under it. The department will conduct different activities imparting skills for complete life with the help of government and non-government agencies. Anand Utsava is a part of series of these activities. The Utsava is being organised between January 14 and 21 at Panchayat level or in the group of three-four panchayat.
Outline of the festival
Cultural and sports activities would be held at selected place at gram panchayat level or at group level. Folk music, dance, songs, bhajan-kirtan, drama etc. and sports activities are being organised. Male and female of all ages would participate in them. Sports and cultural competitions would be held in panchayats at group level.
Concept of Anandam
Arrangement to provide things to needy persons free of cost through voluntary organisations in different districts is being underway on different names. The state government has given it title of 'Anandam'. The arrangement for this would be made at selected place in every district with board displaying 'Anandam'.
As per decision, major programme will be organised at district headquarters where arrangement for 'Anandam' will be made. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will address all districts altogether. The Chief Minister's address would be seen live and listened. This would be a public programme with active participation of public representatives, voluntary organisations and Anandako.
Selection of games in Anand Utsava
Games giving enjoyment would be organised during the festival. Games like 100 and 200 meter race, kabaddi, kho-kho, tug of war, wrestling, volly ball, 5 km cycling, spoon, lemon race, sack race, handball, throwball and any games of local level could be included. Competitions would be held in three age groups for male and female. The first group would be of participants up to 18 years, second will be of 18 to 35 years and third group will be for participants of over 35 years age.
Certificates in prescribed format will be given to all winners and members of team in sports. The winner team of female will be given medals. Excellent programme to be held at panchayat and group level in each development block will be informed to district collector. The reason of selecting panchayat or group of panchayat will be mentioned in the report. Organising committee of such panchayat will be presented at district level by MP, District in-charge Minister or MLA nominated by them. The programme will be held at district headquarters on January 30, 2017.
Department of Happiness - Innovative step
Department of Happiness is an initiative of its kind in the country. Its objectives are to identify and define the parameters of happiness and joy and execute them to make of common people's life happy. To make life happy of every person of Madhya Pradesh, the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan constituted the Department of Happiness.

Farmers of State: Farmers of the state which is the most important part of the society get happiness from good fertilisers, pesticide and sources of irrigation for good crop. Besides this, one more important thing is the right price of crop. Ministry of Happiness for them is one which takes step in their interest so that they can get material for good crop and the crop gets right price.
Youth of the state: The second important categary is youth of the state. He or she gets happiness from higher education or employment or self employment so that he or she can earn bread and butter for family. Ministry of happiness for them is the one which takes steps in their interest so that they can pursue higher education and further employment and self employment.
Non-reserved class of the state: Reservation in jobs is emerging as serious problem in the society. There is a race for getting reservation and the capable section is also demanding reservation. For non-reserved class, the Ministry of Happiness is the one which takes step in their interests that means talent of the state could not be deprived of job because of the reservation and reservation should be provided to only them who are really needy. -WTN
