Bhopal: The Cabinet meeting held today under the Chairmanship of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken a decision to keep height norms of 155 centimeter for women candidates in the direct recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector (Computer), Head Constable (Computer) and Constable Cadre.
Moreover, the cabinet has taken a decision to benefit 50 students of backward class in place of 10 every year under the Videsh Addhyan Chhatravratti Yojana (Foreign Studies Scholarship Scheme). Payment against their scholarship will be borne by the government.
Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development
The cabinet has decided to give approval for total Rs. 379 crore 89 lakh for continuous implementation of Sub-Mission on Agriculture Mechanisation (S.M.A.M.) under the National Mission on Agriculture Extension and Technology of the Government of India from year 2017-18 to 2019-20.Under this Rs. 227 crore 93 lakh is the Center’s share, whereas State’s share is Rs. 151 crore 96 lakh.
An approval of Rs. 32 crore 35 lakh has been given by the cabinet to continue Krishi Shakti Yojana being implemented with an objective for over all expansion of agriculture mechanisation’s activities in the state from year 2017-18 to 2019-20.
Revenue
The cabinet has taken a decision for amendments in the norms of Economic grant assistance amount in revenue book circular for loss to banana crop. As per the decision, grant assistance of Rs. 15 thousand per hectare, Rs. 27 thousand per hectare and Rs. One lakh per hectare will be given respectively on 25 to 33 percent, on 33 to 50 percent and over 50 percent crop loss.
Moreover, the cabinet has taken a decision to allot land to District Rajput Samaj Trust- Mandsaur in Mandsaur town for construction of school, hostel, community and cultural bhavan.
Water Resources
The cabinet has decided to give benefit of special package to the farmers of submerge area in addition to estimated expenditure of the project report for land acquisition and resettlement for Bham Medium irrigation Project of Khandwa district according to the Land Acquisition Act and Rehabilitation Policy. There is a provision of Rs. 71 crore 93 lakh for land acquisition and rehabilitation works in the administrative sanction of the project. Those farmers of the submerge area, who are receiving the compensation amount including solatium less than Rs. 10 lakh per hectare under the Land Acquisition Act, an amount of Rs. 62 crore 72 lakh will be spent on land acquisition and rehabilitation on the condition of giving one time amount at the rate of minimum Rs. 10 lakh per hectare under the special package.
Similarly, for Aavliya Medium Irrigation Project of Khandwa district, an amount of Rs.47 crore 78 lakh will be spent under the special package for land acquisition and rehabilitation of the farmers of submerge area.
The cabinet has taken a decision to give administrative approval of Rs. 167 crore 58 lakh for total 12 thousand hectare command area of Chambal Micro Irrigation Project of Sheopur district.
Medical education
The Cabinet granted sanction to capital investment of Rs. 42 crore and creation of 12 new posts for setting up tertiary cancer care centre for installing higher capacity radiotherapy machine for cancer treatment and improving quality of treatment in Medical College, Gwalior.
Sanction was given for creation of 16 contractual posts for execution of sanctioned project to the tune of Rs 31 crore 60 lakh and continuity of man power development scheme under National Mental Health Programme in Mental Asylum situated at Gwalior under medical education department.
In order to providing best national batchmark level to neuro surgery department of Medical College, Jabalpur, revised sanction to the tune of Rs 15 crore 83 lakh 11 thousand was given for creation of 75 new posts for upgradation and construction works.
Amendment in store purchasing rules
The Cabinet approved M.P. Bhandar Kray Tatha Seva Uparjan Niyam 2017 amending M.P. Bhandar Kray Tatha Seva Uparjan Niyam 2015 for using Jaim portal (Government e-market place) developed by the Government of India for taking general material and services.
Public works
The Cabinet decided to keep revenue amount to be received from M.P. State Highways fund in security in favour of M.P. Road Development Corporation for next 10 years from the financial year 2018-19. It will be used by corporation for construction and new state highways and major district roads.
Employee welfare
The Cabinet decided to make payment of death cum retirement benefits to employees working as work charged, daily wage workers and permanent employees as per provisions of Upadan Bhugtan Adhiniyam 1972. This system will be effective from October 7, 2016. The cabinet took decision that head of department is authorised to take decision on the basis of deceased or retired employees in which the decision has been given by controlling authority or court or decision to be given in future, on the basis of their merits prior to this date.
Law and legislative
The Cabinet approved upgradation of grade pay Rs 4800 from Rs 4200 to from January 1, 2016, to private secretaries of MP High Court.
Cooperatives
The Cabinet decided to extend the deadline for participation in Chief Minister Loan Redressal Scheme effective from April 6, 2018 for resolving overdue loan of defaulter members of primary agriculture credit cooperatives societies (PACCS) associated with district cooperatives central banks till July 31, 2018.
Scheduled Caste Welfare
The Cabinet took decision to continue Habitat Development Plan of Scheduled Caste Welfare Department till 2019-20 from 2017-18.-Window To News
