CM Chouhan to distribute lap tops to meritorious students at Jabalpur on July 20

Bhopal: The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will distribute lap tops to meritorious students, who have scored 75 percent and above marks in the 12th Board Examination of the Board of Secondary Education at 12.30 p.m. at Jabalpur on July 20. Laptop amount at the rate of Rs. 25 thousand will be transferred in the bank accounts of studts during the programme. The programme will be telecasted directly by Doordarshan at 12.15 p.m.en
On the same day, lap top amount distribution programme will be held at Divisional Headquarters of the remaining districts besides Jabalpur. It may be mentioned that the announcement was made by the CM Chouhan in the past to give lap top amount to students, who have scored 75 percent marks in 12th Board Examination.
In compliance to the announcement, these lap top amount distribution programmes are being organized. Lap top amount will be distributed to 44 thousand 757 students during the programme to be held tomorrow.
Programmes at all the Divisional Headquarters including Jabalpur will be started with recital of Saraswati Vandana at 12.25 p.m. Recital of Vande Matram and Madhya Pradesh Gaan will also take place in the programme. CM Chouhan will address students at 1.10 p.m. Only 473 students were benefitted in the state under the Pratibhashali Vidhyarthi Protsahan Yojana in the year 2009-10, whereas the number of students has grown to 67 thousand 615 in the year 2017-18.
Instructions issued to District Education Officers
Directives in connection to the lap top amount distribution programme to be held at Divisional Headquarters on July 20 have been issued by the Commissioner Public Instruction to all the District Education Officers. Special instructions have been issued as regard to arrangement for meritorious students, who are reaching Divisional Headquarters from the District Headquarters.-Window To News
