Ill health caused death of 90 year-old Mangal Singh of Chhatarpur district

District administration presented actual facts relating to the case
Bhopal: 90 year-old farmer Mangal Singh of Dumra village of Chhatarpur district died of paralysis and old-age related disease after he was discharged from the district hospital after full treatment. According to the information received from the district administration Mangal Singh had taken part in the public welfare camp held in Dumra on July 14. On returning from the camp his health started deteriorating. He was rushed to the district hospital where after being given complete treatment he was sent back home on July 19 where he died.
District administration told the actual facts that the Bhavantar and Mukhya Mantri Krishak Samriddhi Yojana assistance amount was deposited in the account of the deceased Mangal Singh. Deceased Mangal Singh had 2.318 hectare agricultural land on which 20 quintal produce was sold by Mangal Singh in Kharif 2017. For this an amount of Rs 4020 Bhavantar was transferred into his account. Besides this in Rabi crop 2018, Mangal Singh had sold 44 quintal wheat for which Rs 76 thousand 513 was transferred to his amount. District administration gave this information that under the Mukhya Mantri Krishak Samriddhi Yojana incentive of Rs 11 thousand 686 was transferred to Mangal Singh ‘s account.
Chhatarpur district administration has made it clear that a drought relief amount of Rs 12 thousand 600 has also been approved to Mangal Singh. This amount will also be transferred to his bank account soon. Mangal Singh did not fast unto death , he died of old age.-Window To News
