Takes stock of arrangements and meets students
Bhopal: Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel today took stock of the arrangements at the girls hostel in Nanaji Deshmukh Veterniary University in Jabalpur and spoke to the students about their problems and facilities being provided to them. The Governor planted a gooseberry sapling at the hostel premises and dedicated a digital library.
The Governor advised the students to clean up the entire kitchen once in 15 days and prepare food also. After marriage their in-laws should not get a chance to say that they do not know how to cook as they were staying in a hostel. The students promised the Governor that she would surely come to taste the food cooked by them. The Governor showed interest in the herbal medicines manufactured by medicinal plants. She also inspected the functioning of the high-tech machine installed for the testing of purity of water and the cow-dung pot construction process.
The Governor said that the messages of cleanliness will have their desired effect only when everyone works for cleanliness. She appealed to the students to take up the work of cleanliness for one day. Inspired by the Governor’s words, the students took resolve then and there to maintain cleanliness in the hostel and the university.-Window To News
