Students should work hard, government to give resources: Revenue Minister Gupta

Praveshotsav held at Tribal Boys hostel
Bhopal: Revenue, Science and Technology Minister Umashankar Gupta told students that they should only work hard, the government will do the work of mobilisation of resources. Gupta said this at the Praveshotsav of the Government College Tribal Boys Hostel, Bhadbhada Road. It may be noted that today that Hostel Praveshotsav is being celebrated in the entire state.
Citing the example of the selection of a student of Dewas from a poor family in M.B.B.S. in AIIMS, Gupta said that no particular section has monopoly over knowledge. Work hard and make efforts in the right direction and success will be definitely yours. He said that if you do not get place in a hostel, take a rented house, the rent of which will be borne by the government. The government will also bear the expenses for coaching for a good job.
Skill development classes
Science and Technology Minister Gupta said that skill development classes should be held in the hostels. He said that skill development training should be imparted to the students in their spare time acording to their will. Gupta said that it is difficult to get job on the basis of just the marksheet. With skilled people, there will no problem of employment.
Gupta said that students in the hostel should be served food on his behalf once a year. He planted saplings of mangoes and guavas in the hostel premises. Local public representatives were present on the occasion.-Window To News
