Rural Development Minister Bhargav to open digital transaction workshop

Bhopal: Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Gopal Bhargav will inaugurate a two-day workshop on promotion of digital transaction and taxation in gram panchayats at WALMI on July 24 at 10 am. Minister of State for Panchayat and Rural Development Vishwas Sarang will be special guest. Subject experts will impart training to around 200 panchayat representatives of 5 districts at the workshop.
Director, Panchayat Raj Shamimuddin told that the Panchayati Raj Ministry of Government of India is making efforts for the empowerment of the panchayats in the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan. This special workshop will be organised in this series. On the first day of the workshop on July 24, panchayats will be informed about the process of mandatory and alternative tax imposition and recovery under taxation process besides transaction process and technical information of UPI, USSD, AEPS, POS, Mobiliwallets, BHIM Ape under digital transaction.
On the second day on July 25, representatives of the best panchayats of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat state will give a presentation and experts from Central Bank of India, SVLC Conveyor and I.T experts will address the workshop.-Window To News
