Revenue Department to verify sowing area of registered farmers
Bhopal: Crop wise e-registration of farmers for Kharif Crops will be started on e-procurement portal in the state from July 28. The registration will be carried out till August 31.
Registration of paddy will be carried out on the e-portal in all the districts. Apart from this, registration of jawar, bajra, soybean, arhar, urad and makka will also be undertaken on the e-procurement portal in all the districts. Registration of farmers will be carried out for moong in 34 districts of the state i.e. Jabalpur, Sehore, Rewa, Agar-Malwa, Damoh, Satna, Vidisha, Hoshangabad, Narsinghpur, Dhar, Khargone, Bhind, Chhidwara, Badwani, Ratlam, Shivpuri, Chhattarpur, Tikamgarh, Sidhi, Khandwa, Guna, Sagar, Raisen, Bhopal, Datia, Sheopurkalan, Rajgarh, Mandsaur, Panna, Morena, Harda, Burhanpur, Ujjain and Ashoknagar.
Registration of farmers for groundnut will be carried out in 20 districts. These districts include Shivpuri, Tikamgarh, Chhindwara, Alirajpur, Badwani, Chhatarpur, Neemuch, Betul, Datia, Seoni, Jhabua, Khargone, Khandwa, Dhar, Mandsaur, Damoh, Sagar, Shahdol, Agar-Malwa and Rajgarh.
Farmers of 30 districts will be registered for sesame crop. These districts include Chhatarpur, Datia, Bhind, Panna, Tikamgarh, Gwalior, Singrauli, Morena, Sheopur Kalana, Sidhi, Shivpuri, Satna, Shahdol, Katni, Rajgarh, Rewa, Umaria, Seoni, Chhindwada, Damoh, Balaghat, Guna, Anuppur, Mandsaur, Mandla, Khandwa, Sagar, Jabalpur, Neemuch adnd Betul districts.
Similarly, farmers of 13 districts will be registered for Ram-til crop on e-procurement portal. These districts are Chhindwada, Dindori, Shivpuri, Anuppur, Seoni, Gwalior, Khargone, Mandla, Singrauli, Satna, Shahdol, Ashoknagar and Sheopur Kalan.
For Kharif 2018, out of the crops of which the Central government has declared Minimum Support Price, Paddy, Jowar, Bajra and Cotton will be registered on e-procurement portal. In addition to this, registration of other crops will be done on the e-procurement portal and the state government will take separate decision regarding the payment of Bhavantar incentive amount on the procurement of these crops. The Revenue Department will carry out the verification of the sowing of registered farmers as per the guidelines of the Food and Civil Supplies and the Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Departments.-Window To News
