Above Normal in 23 and normal rain in 24 districts recorded in state

Highest rainfall 629.3 M.M. recorded in Mandla
Bhopal: During the monsoon this year, 20 percent above normal rain has been recorded in 23 districts of Madhya Pradesh from June 1 to July 25. Similarly, normal rain in 24 districts of the state has been recorded. Low rain has been registered in four districts. Highest rainfall i.e. 629.3 m.m. in Mandla, whereas minimal rainfall i.e. 227.5 m.m. has been recorded in Bhind.
Districts where above normal rain has been recorded include Jabalpur, Mandla, Damoh, Tikamgarh, Umaria, Indore, Jhabua, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Nemuch, Ratlam, Shajapur, Agar-Malwa, Morena, Sheopurkalan, Shivpuri, Guna, Sehore, Raisen, Rajgarh and Hoshangabad.
Similarly, districts where normal rainfall has been recorded include Balaghat, Chhidwara, Narsinghpur, Seoni, Sagar, Panna, Sidhi, Singruali, Chhattarpur, Betul, Satna, Shahdol, Anuppur, Dhar, Khargone, Badwani, Dewas, Gwalior, Bhind Harda, Datia, Bhopal, Vidisha and Ashoknagar.
Low rainfall has been recorded in Katni, Dindori, Rewa and Alirajpur.
