Mission Antodaya begins for poor families of rural areas

Bhopal: The Mission Antodaya has been started by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India to bring transformation in life of poor families of rural areas beside livelihood upliftment. The School Education Department has set goals to implement programmes in 11 thousand 413 selected villages till 2020 under the Mission Antodaya.
Higher Secondary schools will be opened in the selected villages to encourage education among girls. According to the need, initially arrangement will be made for construction of rooms, potable water, sports ground and toilets. Moreover, 100 percent attendance of students will be ensured in all the schools of these villages.
District Education Officers have been told that programmes should be implemented by conducting actual analysis of the status of the departmental activities as on April 2018 in the villages selected under the Mission Antodaya. Moreover, the District Education Officers have been informed that an action plan prepared under the Mission Antodaya should be completed by September 30, 2020. Responsibility to monitor Mission Antodaya has been entrusted to District Education Officers.-Window To News
