Finance Minister Malaiya to inaugurate training campaign of Farmers’ Produce Organisation today

Bhopal: Finance Minister Jayant Malaiya will launch the strengthening and training campaign of the Farmers’ Produce Organisation at Hotel Courtyard of Bhopal at 3 pm on July 30. In order to make the farmers financially sound, this training campaign has been started by National Agriculture and Rural Development Bank (NABARD). On this occasion, Chief General Manager, NABARD, S.K. Bansal will also be present.
About 2 thousand 500 farmers from across the state will be present at the training programme of farmers by NABARD. This campaign will be started in 10 districts of the state including Sehore, Ujjain, Chhindwada, Dhar, Khargone, Tikamgarh, Ratlam, Rewa, Balaghat and Betul districts. The 2 thousand 500 farmers selected and trained will train nearly 50 thousand farmers of these districts regarding marketing of their produce and financially strengthen them.
This training programme will continue in these districts from July 31st to August 31st 2018. Selected 2 thousand 500 farmers will be trained by the country's prestigious institution Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD). These farmers will be specially trained in agriculture related activities related to the cultivation of fruits and vegetables, dairy business, bee keeping and cultivation of spices and its marketing.-Window To News
