Districts, Janpads and Gram Panchayats that meet targets will be awarded

Bhopal: Districts, Janpads and Gram Panchayats will be awarded for their best performance under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin). Every district that meets two-thirds of the target by December 31 at the district level will be awarded with Rs 2.50 lakh, every Janpad that completes construction of 80 percent houses at the Janpad level will be awarded with Rs one lakh and the gram panchayat that meets cent percent target will be awarded with an additional allotment of Rs 3 lakh for construction of C.C. road and concrete drain under the Panch-Parmeshwar Yojana.
Earlier, the Districts, Janpads and Gram Panchayats that fulfilled the targets till December 31, 2017 have been awarded. Under this scheme, Guna, Sagar and Rajgarh will be awarded in the district category, Aaron, Raghogarh and Guna in Guna district in the Janpad Panchayat category, Berasia in Bhopal district, Datia in Datia district, Narsinghgarh, Saranggarh and Biaora in Rajgarh district and Sagar development block in Sagar district.
