New directives issued for Shikshak Kalyan Pratishthan and Contributory Fund Economic Assistance
Bhopal: The School Education department will strengthen Shikshak Sadan in districts from the contributory fund given to Shikshak Kalyan Pratishthan. Shikshak Sadans with 10 rooms and 20 rooms at Divisional Headquarters will be constructed in those districts which do not have Shikshak Sadan. Directives in this connection have been issued by the Commissioner Public Instruction Smt. Jaishree Kiyawat to Joint Director Education of the Divisional Office and District Education Officers. Along with this, new directives have been issued regarding increase in the annual contributory fund being paid by the teachers of the state to the Shikshak Kalyan Pratishthan currently.
Currently, voluntary contributory fund of Rs. 25. Rs. 50 and Rs. 100 are collected from assistant teachers, teachers and lecturers and principals respectively posted in the School Education Department. According to the decision taken in the meeting, now Rs. 100, Rs. 150, Rs. 200 and Rs. 300 will be collected from the Assistant teachers, teachers, lecturers and principals beside Assistant Director and their superiors respectively in the form of voluntary contributory fund annually and deposited in the Shikshak Kalyan Pratishthan. The contributory fund of the year 2018-19 will be voluntary received from the teachers in the month of July and August and will be deposited in the bank account of Shikshak Kalyan Pratishthan at Allahabad bank, Gautam Nagar Branch, Bhopal.
The 20 percent and 30 percent amount will be made available to the concerned Divisional Joint Director and the concerned District Education Office respectively to conduct activities of the Shikshak Kalyan Pratishthan from the amount collected in the district in the form of contributory fund. The remaining 50 percent amount will be kept for the welfare of teachers in the Directorate Public Instruction.
Moreover, increase has been made in economic assistance provided by the Shikshak Kalyan Pratishthan to teachers and their dependents in case of serious illness. An amount up to Rs. 10 thousand at District Education Officer level and Rs. 20 thousand at Divisional Joint Director level could be approved in case of serious illness. The Commissioner Public Instruction could approve amount up to Rs. 50 thousand on recommendations of the District Education Officer in case of serious illness of teachers and their dependents.-Window To News
