Electricity bills worth Rs 21 crore waived off
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has issued directives to officials that Sambal Yojana should be reviewed by Collector, Commissioner and Head of departments every week necessarily.
The review should be made on every Monday. He said that in order to move ahead the society and the state, Adivasi Diwas, Shahid Samman Diwas and Mile Banche Madhya Pradesh programmes are being organised in August. Chouhan was addressing the video conference of collectors and divisional commissioners today at Mantralaya. He reviewed the progress of the Sambal Yojana. Chief Secretary BP Singh was present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Chouhan, congratulating the officers for successful execution of Sambal Yojana, said that the impact of the scheme is visible at the field level due to hard work and determination. Sambal Yojana is an effort to make the life of the poor easier.
Adivasi Diwas to be celebrated with fanfare
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Adiwasi Diwas will be celebrated in tribal dominated 20 districts ofAugust 9. This programme should be organised with enthusiasm and fanfare in the form of a public festival. Active participation of the society should be invited in it.
The form of the programme should follow tribal tradition and protection and promotion of the culture. Performance by local art groups and cultural groups should be held and felicitation ceremony for talent and programme for informing people about the government schemes and giving benefits should be held. He issued instructions to give optional leave to government servants for participating in the festival and holiday in tribal districts and development blocks. He said that the government aim is to move ahead taking all and carry out development.
Shahid Diwas on August 14
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the society did not forget martyrdom of martyrs. To commemorate this feeling among the martyrs families, Shahid Samman Diwas will be held on 14 August. On the day, feliciatation programmes will be organized in memory of brave martyrs sacrificing their life on the border and in internal security in their villages. Families will be feted. This will spread the patriotic feeling. The Chief Minister was informed that the programme will be held in memory of 578 martyrs of Army, Central Armed Forces and Madhya Pradesh Police in the state.
Mil Banche Madhya Pradesh on August 17
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the Mil Banche Madhya Pradesh programme will be organized on August 17. The programme will be held with full decorum and enthusiasm in colloboration with the society. The Chief Minister was informed that prominent citizens will reach schools under the Mil Banche Madhya Pradesh programme for over 33 thousand schools of the state. On the occasion, gift a book campaign will alos be conducted. Under the campaign, 45 thousand 810 persons have been registered to give 4 lakh 50 thousand books worth Rs 1.5 crore.
It was informed in the meeting that more than two crore 7 lakh 57 thousand workers, including workers of unorganized and building construction, have been registered in the state. A grant of more than Rs 64 crores 66 lakhs has been distributed under the Prasuti Sahayata Yojana. The total fees Rs 2 crore 13 lakh 80 thousand has been paid for students.
In this way, more than 36 lakh families have been registered under the Power Bill Saral Yojana.
More than 10 lakh 67 thousand electricity bills have been issued under the scheme. Total 61 lakhs registrations have been recorded the Bill Samadhan scheme and the certificates of outstanding bills worth Rs 21 crore have been been distributed. 80 lakh smart cards have been distributed under Sambal Yojana.
