Academic Evaluation of 78 Lakh School Students will be made in State

 
Bhopal : Evaluation of academic achievements of One lakh 14 thousand government schools’ students pursuing studies in class 1 to 8 and educational system will be made in the state. This activity will be conducted on January 18, 19 and 20th in the form of Pratibha-Parva. School Education Department has issued necessary instructions in this regard.
 
In order to make Pratibha –Parva evaluation as per the International Standard, action is being initiated for study of Hindi, Maths, Science and Environment in class 3, 5 and 8 with the cooperation of UNICEF as per the norms of National Achievement Survey. For this 60 primary and 60 middle schools of each district have been selected as sample schools to conduct special study. Data analysis of the students of sample schools will be undertaken at state level by the experts. On the basis of their reports, policy decisions will be taken towards efforts for educational quality upgradation in the coming years. Third party evaluation will be made by the UNICEF.
 
Pratibha-Parva will be organized at school level in 3 days. Subject based evaluation will be made of children on first and second day. On the third day of Pratibha-Parva, Balsabha will be celebrated as annual function and parents will be invited. Moreover, cultural, sports and other activities of students will be organized in the presence of parents. Balsabha will be conducted by the Bal-Cabinet formed in the schools. Cent percent participation of students in any of the activity of the annual function will be ensured. Prizes and certificates will be distributed to the students and an amount of Rs. 2700 will be provided to each class for annual function. Beside watching Bal-Sabha the parents will be facilitated to hold conversation with the teachers and to share the students’ results on the day the public representatives and parents will be invited.
 
During the Pratibha-Parva , the progress in basic capabilities and subject based capabilities will be evaluated of those children who have not attained the capabilities as per the class on the basis of baseline and endline. Verification officer will present in each school for authenticate evaluation. The School Education department has made the content based interesting questions for evaluation this year. Evaluation of reasoning capabilities, understanding of contents and its use will be made of children on solving these questions. -WTN
