Bhopal: The “Shaheed Saman Diwas” will be observed in all the districts of the state on August 14. The State Government has taken a decision to honour families of Martyrs of Madhya Pradesh origin, who sacrificed their life while discharging duty during war, military action, internal security, naxalite and terrorism related activities. The school or government building will be named after the Martyrs in the village where he was born or his family is residing currently.
The Minister In-Charge of Dsitricts, Local Minister along with the Member of Parliament, Member of Legislative Assembly and other Public Representatives will participate in the Shaheed Samman Diwas. Programmes in memory of Martyrs will be organized at schools and heroic tale of Martyrs will be recited before the school students. The programmes in honour of 602 Martyrs will be organized in the state. Families of 13 martyrs will be honored in the progarmme at Bhopal. Families of 4 Martyrs at Sehore and Rajagarh, 3 at Raisen and One in Vidisha will be honoured.
On the Shaheed Samman Diwas, 89 families at Morena, 99 at Bhind, 8 at Shivpuri, 5 at Guna, 6 at Guna and 63 at Gwalior will be honoured. Similarly, 2 at Alirajpur, 4 at Badwani, 4 at Dhar, 29 at Indore, One at Jhabua, 2 each at Khandwa and Khargone will be honoured. In addition to this, families of 35 Martyrs at Jabalpur, 10 at Balaghat, 5 at Chhinwada, 7 at Katni, 8 at Mandla, 2 at Narsinghpur, 6 at Seoni and 2 at Dindori district will be honoured. In this series, 10 at Betul, 2 at Harda and one family at Hoshangabad will be honoured on the occasion of Shaeed Samman Diwas. Moreover, 68 families of Martyrs at Rewa, 25 at Satna, 9 at Sidhi, 7 at Chhattarpur, one at Damoh, 3 each at Tikamgarh and Panna, 21 at Sagar will be honoured. Furthermore, 4 families at Anuppur, 3 at Shahdol, 8 at Ujjain, 2 at Shajapur, 6 at Ratlam and 5 families each at Dewas, mandsaur and Neemuch will be honoured. On the Shaheed Samman Diwas, families of 312 Martyrs of Defence, 119 Martyrs of Para Military Forces, 171 of Madhya Pradesh Police will be honoured.-Window To News
