Safe City Monitoring and Response Centre dedicated
Bhopal: The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that safety of citizens is paramount for the state government. The state government is committed to provide safety to the people of the state. Crime free Madhya Pradesh is our goal. CM Chouhan was addressing the function organised to dedicate Safe Monitoring and Response Centre here today. He also dedicated Mobile App of Dial-100, 150 Motorcycles and 79 Advance CCTV Surveillance Vehicles being linked with Dial-100 in the programme.
CM Chouhan stated that advance technique will help in reducing crimes and the feeling of safety will enhance among the citizens. The Dial-100 service will be developed more in the state and number of CCTV cameras will be increased. Moreover, campaign will be conducted for installation of CCTV cameras in private institutions. He further mentioned that advance technique has played an important role in giving capital punishment to the rapists in the state. Madhya Pradesh has taught the country how to curb the crime by using advance techniques. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also mentioned about Madhya Pradesh in his Independence Day Function's speech in connection to speedy capital punishment given to the rapists in the state.
Chouhan also inspected the service being started from today and took darshan of Nagchandreshwar Mandir of Ujjain and Pitambara Peeth of Datia through CCTV. The Additional Director General of Police Upendra Jain apprised about the services of Response Center in the programme.
On this occasion, it was informed that features like SOS Calling, provision of S.M.S. and Location trackers are included in Dial-100 mobile App, which enable to send help immediately to persons in need. Two wheeler vehicles under Dial-100 will help to send assistance now in narrow lanes and roads. Monitoring of remote places could be done by Advance CCTV Surveillance Vehicles. At present, work to install 11 thousand CCTV cameras will be undertaken at 2 thousand places of the state.
The Chief Secretary B.P. Singh, DGP R.K. Shukla, Principal Secretary Home Malay Shrivastava, Chief Minister's wife Smt. Sadhna Singh, Chief Secretary's wife Smt. Indu Singh and DGP's wife Smt. Nilima Shukla besides other Senior Police Officers were present in the programme.- Window To News
