Six officers of Food Department suspended for negligence and callousness

Bhopal: Six officers of the Food Department have been suspended for negligence and callousness in discharge of responsibilities assigned to them. Suspension orders have been issued by Director, Food Shriman Shukla.
The suspended officers include Junior Supplies Officer Jayant Asrathi, Dindori district, Ashish Azad, Harda district, Assistant Supplies Officer Aftab Ahmed Siddiqui, Panna district, Rajesh Yadav, Balaghat district, Smt. Anita Sorte and Manoj Purabia, Mandla district.
The action has been taken by the department following lack of expected development in the area of the suspended authorities due to their callousness in ration distribution from the POS machine in the area of their charge and not giving satisfactory answer on time in this regard. The suspended officers are also guilty for violation of government orders.
Director Food Shukla informed that orders have been given to distribute ration to eligible beneficiaries from the POS machine installed in the government fair price shop under targeted Public Distribution System.-Window To News
