Bhopal: A Hitgrahi Sammelan will be organized on August 25 in all the urban bodies to provide benefits of Sambal Yojana to all retail traders, small businessmen in urban areas. All such small, retail traders who do not pay income tax are eligible under the Sambal Yojana. The main event will be held at Motilal Stadium in Bhopal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will address the beneficiaries of the entire state at 11.30 am. His address will be telecast live.
Arrangement will be made for the registration of the remaining beneficiaries at the Sammelan sites so that they too can avail the benefits. The Chief Minister greeted all citizens on Raksha Bandhan in advance.
Instructing all Mayors, Nagar Panchayat presidents, Municipal Commissioners, Chief Municipal Officers to ensure all necessary preparations for the Hitgrahi Sammelan at the video conference today at the Mantralaya, CM Chouhan said that all small traders are eligible under Sambal Yojana.
Chouhan told all the District Collectors, Municipal Commissioners and Chief Municipal Officers to invite local public representatives as chief guests at the Sammelan. He told them to ensure that all of them should participate in the conference and no one should be deprived of taking benefits of the Yojana. He told them to keep all arrangements for registration at the Sammelan sites so that they can be registered by filling the application immediately. All preparations should be made to organize such conferences in all urban bodies.
Chouhan said that he will hold a discussion with the beneficiaries of Sambal Yojana through video conferencing. He instructed all the collectors to prepare detailed progress reports in connection with the Sambal Yojana. It will be reviewed in the video conferencing on coming September 4.
The Chief Minister said that on August 31, a programme will be organized for distribution of tendu patta bonus. He instructed the concerned departments to make all the preparations. The Chief Minister said that on September 10, a Backward Classes Conference will be organized. Through this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be thanked for giving constitutional status to the Backward Classes Commission. Chouhan said that the Mil Banche Madhya Pradesh programme will be organized from 11 am. on August 31. The programme was postponed following former Prime Minister Late Atal Behari Vajpayee’s demise. The Chief Minister instructed to set up control rooms in all the districts and to monitor the possible flood conditions taking the rainfall situation into account. He said that rainfall still continues so precautionary measures should be taken. He told to make arrangements to make water available to farmers in the districts with scanty rainfall.-Window To News
