‘Samadhan Shivir’ to resolve problems of students

Camps to be conducted from September 5 to 7 in all Universities of State
Bhopal: The ‘Samadhan Shivir’ will be organized in all the Universities of the state from September 5 to 7. Complaints received from those students, who are pursuing studies in the colleges and universities of the state besides pass out students in connection to delay in examination results, original mark sheets, correction of anomalies in mark sheet, migration certificate, enrolment certificate, degree and eligibility certificates will be redressed during the camps. Directives regarding this have been issued to all the Registrars of the Universities by the Higher Education Department.
The camps will be organized in each university’s campus from 11.00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Along with redressal of pending complaints; action will also be taken on complaints received on the same day during the camp. Such complaints, in which redressal will not be possible on the same day will be intimated to students by registrars in writing for redressal within a week.
Responsibilities of the Principals of leading colleges have also been ensured. Principals of government, private and all the government aided colleges will prepare list by collecting details of the students’ pending complaints of their respective areas and the compiled list will be submitted to the Additional Director. Along with the list, the Principals of the leading colleges will also submit certificate to the Additional Director stating that there is no case concerning students, pending in their area.
The Additional Director has been made responsible to collect list of cases registered under the CM Helpline besides list/cases of pending complaints of students mandatorily from the Principals of the leading colleges. The list should be handed over to the concerned Registrar before September 5 and to send certificate stating there is no complaint pending, on the basis of the list of the Principals of the leading colleges to the department mandatorily.
Responsibility to hold camps has been entrusted to the Registrar. All the Principals, Principals of the leading colleges and the Additional Director, while informing students about the camp, will encourage them to attend the Samadhan Shivir to resolve their problems. After the camp, if any complaint is found pending then accountability of the Principal of the leading college, College Principal and the concerned Additional Director will be ensured.
Notice in connection to the camp will be pasted at the notice board of the Office of the Principals of the leading colleges, College Principals, Additional Director and the Registrar.
