Villagers relieved from farming and daily routine works were waiting for the Narmada Seva Yatra. This is the sentimental attachments of the public which were compelling them to wait for the yatra with patience. Sadhu-Sants when danced on the tunes of Narmada songs leaving aside from their tradition and culture, it looks like they have reached the heights of their emotions.
Minister for Forest Dr. Gourishnakar Shejwar addressing the Public gathering during the Narmada Seva Yatra reached at Babrighat said that the water which is being used for sip before yagya should not be polluted. Providing solutions to conserve Narmada river and to make it free from pollution, he urged the people to participate wholeheartedly in the yatra. He further mentioned that the importance of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s true reverence, love and intimacy and his concerns for Narmada River have become the cause of Narmada Seva Yatra.
Dr. Shejwar said that Narmada Ji is our dignity and lifeline of the state. In our culture, the places of worships are kept clean. Therefore, it is the responsibility of each and every citizen to make the worship places clean.
‘Namami Devi Narmade’ –Seva Yatra begun from Aonwlighat reached Bhiladiyakhurd covering Gwadi, Chaturmukh, Ghoghra, Pathada, Babri, Dimawar and Kajli where Narmada Aarti was performed.
