Rajesh Bain/Samarjeet Singh Chouhan,
Bhopal : Villagers are convinced about the honest efforts of the Chief Minister
Shivraj Singh Chouhan. They said that they were worried about the day by day decreasing current flow of Narmada, wanted do something and used to talk about it, but were unable to make collective and organised efforts towards it. Hail to the Chief Minister who has given wings to our perception to bring Maa Narmda in its old form.

This view came to the fore during deliberations with the villagers in Narmada Seva Yatra from Nanpa to Kulhada (Kuntipur) of Dolaria Tahsil.  Jagannath Prasad, a villager said that whatever he has today is the blessing of Narmada Maiyya. He said that Maa Narmada has given us everything like life, air, potable water, irrigation water, greenery and electricity for houses and businesses.

Villagers believe that they have not given anything to Maa Narmada instead they have felled trees, they have turned the ghats into plight, disposed off sewage and they have not behaved properly with Maa Narmada. They said that the Chief Minister has heard their inner voices and has started this 5 months long yatra. Now we will not sin to pollute Maa Narmada and will undertake works with the government to make Narmada River pure and clean.

Jgannath said that he owns nothing, whatever he has is the blessings of Maa Narmada. Therefore, on the lines of whatever you have blessed is dedicated to you only, we have taken a pledge to Make Maa Narmada as it was earlier. Now we will translate this into action.
