Honour to Best Engineers on Engineer’s Day
Bhopal: The Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel said that the Indian soil has always been the laboratory of engineers. Several engineers have born in the country, who have transformed unimaginable into imaginable and presented examples, which have been called as wonders in the world. Engineers of the country have carved their different niche in the entire world. This was said by the Governor during her address in the programme organized here on the occasion of Engineer’s Day on Saturday. She honoured engineers for their best performance by presenting shawl-shreephal and mementoes on this occasion. The programme was organized by the Madhya Pradesh Engineering Services Association.
Moreover, the Governor Smt. Patel mentioned that the role of engineers is like a patron in the development of the country and prosperity of citizens. Country needs honest, energetic and committed engineers. She stated that engineers should make efforts to bring quality in constructions by using advance techniques. Young engineers should work with honesty and commitment in building the country. Smt. Patel further mentioned that several buildings, which have been constructed centuries ago in our country, are proof of engineering marvel. Red Fort, Taj Mahal, several palaces and bridges constructed on the rivers still exist.
Furthermore, Smt. Patel stated that the field of engineering is very potential for providing better employment opportunity in India. Students get confused quite often, when it comes to select the engineering’s best branch or most lucrative branches. At present, it is difficult to select engineering’s branch. The computer science/ I.T. engineering has emerged as the main base of Indian economy during the last decade. She mentioned that we should not forget humanity due to the growing influence of advancement and engineering. Engineers must consider to save environment from the pollution.
The Minister of State for Cooperative Vishwas Sarang said that the engineers have played an important role for transforming the state from sick state to the developed state. Role of engineers cannot be forgotten in the development of the society and country. The President of Madhya Pradesh Engineering Services Association Akhilesh Upadhyaya welcomed the guests.-Window To News
