750-bedded hospital attached to Medical College
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will dedicate the state-of-the-art Medical College at Vidisha district headquarters on September 18. A newly-constructed 750-bedded hospital is attached to the Medical College. There are special intensive care units well-equipped with most modern amenities for the treatment of serious patients. Ten doctors will render round the clock services in these units.
Permission has been granted to begin a 150 admission capacity Medical College for the Vidisha Medical College by the Medical Council of India. The process of admission has been completed for the first batch. After about 3 years, post graduate and diploma courses will be started in various streams in the Medical College. Modular Operation Theatre and Blood Bank facility is also available in the Medical College.
The new College in Vidisha will facilitate better treatment of serious patients in not only Vidisha but Ashok Nagar, Raisen, Ganj Basoda, Sironj, Lateri, Guna and Bina. About 2000 patients will also be able to avail treatment facility from the Out Patients Department of the College every day.-Window To News
