“Shala Siddhi” and Hamari Shala Aisi Ho” programmes executed in 25 thousand schools

Attempt to provide useful information to school students through knowledge hub portal
Bhopal: Concrete efforts have been made at the national and state level in the previous years to provide quality education to school students of Madhya Pradesh. In this connection, programmes like “Shala Siddhi” “Hamari Shala Aisi Ho” have been implemented in 25 thousand schools of the state. The National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration, New Delhi of Union Ministry of Human Resource Development has prepared a framework “Shala Siddhi” for evaluation and improvement of government schools. Children are being provided a fearless and happy environment for learning through the programme.
The schools are making work plans by continuous self-evaluation and external evaluation in the programme. A programme to expand the plan to 12 thousand new government schools has been prepared. School Education Department has instructed District Education Officers to continuously monitor the programme. About 1600 officials of the districts contributed in the form of Shala Mitra in the Shala Siddhi programme during the Pratibha Parv last year. Successful evaluation work was undertaken in the programme. One Janshiksha Kendra of each development block was marked as the best Janshiksha Kendra in the programme. This centre is working as a mentor for nearby schools. Arrangements have been made by the Department to impart special training related to basic skills to the teachers of Class I and Class II of government schools in the state during the programme. In addition, in-service training is being imparted to teachers of Class VI to Class VIII and Class IX to XII in Mathematics and Science subjects.
A sports project has been implemented for good quality education with the support of I.I.T. Mumbai in government schools of the state. Charts and programmes focussing on various subjects including Mathematics, Hindi and English are being prepared through this project for Class I to Class III.
Knowledge hub portal prepared
A knowledge sharing network has been prepared for teachers and students of government schools. Links of useful sites of knowledge banks of teachers and students, discussions, queries of students and their answers etc. has been started on YouTube channel.-Window To News
