Second Convocation ceremony of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences held
Bhopal: The Governor Anandiben Patel presented research degrees to 67 students and UG as well as PG degrees in agriculture, M. Phil and Ph.D degrees to research scholars and certificates to the best research scholars during the Convocation ceremony of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences, Mhow. Moreover, the Governor inaugurated the computer lab of the university and planted a sapling in the laboratory campus.
Minister of State for General Administration Lalsingh Arya, Member of Parliament Savitri Thakur, Vice Chancellor C.D. Nayak, Registrar H.S. Tripathi, Vice Chancellor of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow Dr. Prakash Bartuniya, President of Abha Samajik Sanstha Dr. V.B. Kumar, Dean of MSW Dr. D.K. Verma Dean of Agriculture and Rural Development faculty Dr. Kishore Jan, Dean of M.Phil Dr. Aditya Lunawat, Dean of Hindi faculty Anupama Rawat including all the officers of the university were present in the programme.
The Governor said that universities teach how to discharge duties. Works in connection to social, political and empowerment are conducted by the universities by starting new programmes. She told research scholars that they should work to conduct research on aspect, which emerges first during the research. She informed that a committee has been constituted for special works in higher education. The committee comprising of 3 experts will also work for courses and innovations in the universities. She further said that the universities should work to meet the NAAC norms. Various sports competitions and other activities should be organized between the universities.
The Vice Chancellor of the University read the University’s report. He gave information in detail about the courses, research works and skill development training being organized in the university.-Window To News
