CM Chouhan’s Announcements at Tribal Training Programme and Convention at Badwani
Chief Minister said that law will be enacted in the state to provide land to the houseless people for construction of house in the next budget session. Moreover 1000 seater and 500 seater modern girls education campuses will be opened at divisional headquarters and district headquarters respectively to provide educational facilities to the students of tribal community. He further mentioned that self employment will be provided to 20 thousand tribal youths by imparting them skill development training. Chouhan was addressing the state level Tribal Training Programme and Convention at Badwani today.
CM Chouhan said that overall development of tribals is one of the top priorities of the state government. He said that land ownership has been provided to 2 lakh 45 thousand tribals by providing them forest rights pattas. Chouhan mentioned that college hostels will be opened in Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur to encourage higher education among the tribal community. Free coaching facilities at prestigious institutes of Delhi will be provided to the talented tribal children to participate in the national level competitive examinations beside free housing facility.
CM Chouhan said that exemption from B. Ed. Qualification has been given to fill 7000 contractual teacher posts under tribal category in the state. The non B.Ed. degree holders tribal youths will be appointed on these posts and later on they will be provided B.Ed. training. CM Chouhan said that a scheme worth Rs. 110 crore has been made to encourage organic farming to enable farmers to get fair price for organic produces.
Moreover, Chouhan said that stern action will be taken against the usurers who recover exorbitant interest by providing loans to the poor tribals. He gave directives to the district administration to conduct a campaign and take legal action against such usurers.
Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Faggan Singh Kulaste said that valuable minerals in abundance are available in the tribal region. The income generated from the minerals should be used to develop these areas. He expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister Chouhan for establishing Public Hero Tantya Bhil Memorial at Khargone and for dedicating Martyr Bhima Nayak Memorial at Dhaba Bavdi of Badwani district today. He mentioned that the Chief Minister has honoured the entire tribal community by honouring tribal public heroes.
CM Chouhan made announcements to open new college and to make sports residential complex worth Rs. 15 crore at Pati block of Badwani district, Rs. 5 crore for development works in Badwani city and 2 crore rupees each to other nagar parishads of Badwani district. Chouhan performed Kanya Poojan. He distributed citation certificates to the sarpanchs of the grampanchayats to make the village free of open defecation beside lap tops and citation letters to encourage cashless transactions under Sakhi Yojna. Moreover Chouhan also distributed citation letters for cent percent electrification, assistance towards studies in prestigious coaching institutes of Delhi, cheques worth Rs. 25 thousand each to panchayats for carrying out excellent work in the field of education, pattas under the Forest Right Act, approval letters under the Awas Sahayta Yojna and laptops to the children selected in the National Entrance Examinations.
MPs Subhash Patel, Smt. Savitri Thakur, MLA Bala Bachchan, Public Representatives and members of tribal community were present on the occasion.
