Workshop on NSQF and Skilling activities concludes

Bhopal: A workshop was organized for the implementation of National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) and Skilling activities. Director Skill Development Sanjeev Singh gave information related to implementation of NSQF and its standardization at the workshop. He told that this has been notified on December 27, 2013. It aims at integrating general and vocational streams of education and training.
Additional Chief Executive Officer and Additional Director Skill Development J.N. Agrawal said that the NSQF structure determines qualification at 10 levels. Level-1 is basic level while Level-10 is the most advanced level. He said that the implementation of NSQF will result in integration between vocational education, skill training, general education, technical education and the job market.
Among others who also expressed their views were Additional Director Skill Development Surabhi Gupta, Joint Director RDAT, Kanpur Ramesh Chandra, Advisor NSDA Manoj Kumawat and Advisor NSDC Tushar Anand.-Window To News
