Bhopal: MoS Sarang inaugurates health checkup camp
Minister of state for cooperatives, Bhopal gas tragedy relief and rehabilitation (independent charge) Vishwas Sarang inaugurated free health checkup camp organised by the state government in Ashoka Garden today. Chief Medical Officer Smt. Dr Veena Sinha was present on the occasion.
Minister of state Sarang said that the best way of serving people is that we provide better medical facility to people. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has launched the biggest drive of serving humanity. After free health check-up, free treatment will be provided in case of serious disease is detected.
Sarang said that wide publicity should be made for camp. Help of local representative should be taken so that more and more people take its benefit.
Free treatment of eyes of Najma
Minister of state Sarang arrived in the camp with Ashok Garden resident Kumari Najma. One of her eyes was damaged due to lime when she was five years old. Because financial - constraints, her family could not get proper treatment. Sarang instructed to provide treatment to Najma under government schemes and bring back her eyesight. Treatment of Najma's eye will be made through modern medical facility.
