Campaign will be run in State to fight with evil of liquor

Bhopal : Chief Minister  Chouhan participate in Yatra at Handia  

Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Narmada Seva Yatra is being conducted for protection of Narmada river but along with this Yatra, people will be informed about evils of liquor. State-wide liquor prohibition campaign will also be launched for it. The Chief Minister advised not to make disparity between girl and boy. Chief Minister  Chouhan was addressing Jan-Sanvad on the 42nd day of Yatra in Handia of Harda district today. Energy minister  Paras Jain, minister of state for general administration  Lal Singh Arya, minister of state for other backward welfare Lalita Yadav and seers-saints were present on the occasion.

Chief Minister  Chouhan said that mother Narmada has given everything to Madhya Pradesh but without consideration, tree felling was due to negligence of human. He said that this time is for regression. Narmada Seva Yatra is being taken out with this. Chief Minister  Chouhan said that irrigation is being in 30 percent area taking water from Narmada river. Drinking water is being supplied to Amarkantak, Dindori, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Omkareshwar and Indore. Treatment plants will be set up to prevent polluted water flowing in the river. Discussing river linking, Chief Minister  
Chouhan said that Narmada water was released for ablution of pilgrims in Simhastha. Narmada water is now also for giving new life to Gambhir, Parvati and Kalisindh rivers. Chief Minister  Chouhan said that pujan-kund, muktidham and changing rooms would be constructed on Narmada ghats.

Talking about the respect to women in the society, Chief Minister  Chouhan said that the god lives there, where women are respected. The Chief Minister appealed for sending children to schools necessarily. Chief Minister  Chouhan exhorted farmers to plant fruit-bearing trees on both sides of Narmada rive in distance of one km from the banks. The Chief Minister administered pledge to present gathering for making Narmada river pollution-free.

District in-charge minister  Lalsingh Arya, Member of Parliament Jyoti Dhurve, MLA  Sanjay Shah, district panchayat president  Kamal Patel also addressed the programme. Appreciating the Narmada Yatra being launched by Chief Minister  Chouhan, Saint of Vrindavan  Devkinand Thakure said that the Chief Minister is making people aware of water conservation. Viyoganand Saraswati Maharaj, Swami Pragyanand Maharaj, Sadhvi Pragya Bharti also addressed the programme. Father Maria Stiphan,  Raghvendra Saraswati, chairman of MP Tourism

Development Corporation  Tapan Bhaumik were also present there. Chief Minister Chouhan released special edition of 'Seoni Malva Ke Narmada Ghat' and special issue on Narmada published by Hindi Dainik Patrika.
