12 thousand 95 non-bailable warrants issued

Bhopal: The Chief Electoral Officer V. L. Kanta Rao has informed that since the model code of conduct has come into effect, 12 thousand 95 non-bailable warrants have been served between October 6 and 17, 2018. in order to maintain law and order. A total of 924 illegal firearms have been confiscated and one lakh 57 thousand 121 firearms have been deposited in the police stations. Moreover, a prohibitory action has been taken on 27 thousand 310 people.
Under the property defacement, 9 lakh 63 thousand 682 cases have been registered and out of these registered cases, action has been taken in 9 lakh 34 thousand 120 cases. Moreover, action has been taken in 7 lakh 54 thousand 697 cases against the total 7 lakh 66 thousand 840 registered cases of government property defacement. Similarly, under the private property defacement, action has been taken in one lakh 79 thousand 423 cases out of total one lakh 96 thousand 842 registered cases. Four thousand 77 cases of misuse of vehicles have been registered.-Window To News
