Increase in Mukhyamantri Krishak Sahayta Yojna

Bhopal : The State Government has made increase in the assistance amount under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Jivan Kalyan Yojna. A financial amount of Rs. 4 lakh will be provided in case of farmer’s death in accident. It may be highlighted that the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had made an announcement to increase the amount of the Mukhyamantri Krishak Sahayta Yojna from Rs. One lakh to Rs. 4 lakh during the Jan-Kalyan training camp held on December 4, 2016 at Jamboori Maidan.

In compliance to the announcement, the State Agriculture Marketing Board has given directives to all the District Collectors that increased amount of Rs. 4 lakh should be paid on farmers’ death due to accident. This revised amount should be paid from the date of the order as per the amendments in the Mukhyamantri Krishak Jivan Kalyan Yojna-2008. The remaining conditions of the yojna will remain the same as per the eligibility issued earlier.
